Last week I was approached by Ty Downing from Perspective Internet Marketing of Wilmington, NC to help with planning and promoting the 2009 Wilmington Twestival. After he showed me this video I was sold.

The basic idea behind Twestival is to gather fellow twitterers around the world (currently 175 cities have signed on) to raise money for the 1.1 billion people around the world that don’t have access to clean water. That’s 1/6 of everyone in the world.
